Instructor: Tim Perry is an 8-year veteran of the United States Air Force with over 3,000 hours of flight time and served in the first Gulf War. He also has over twenty years of award-winning leadership experience in three Fortune 10 U.S. organizations in product marketing, project and process management, learning development, and sales. He is founder of two non-profit organizations - one that serves Native American Indian Reservations and another that provides crisis counseling for police and fire agencies. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and received a Master of Leadership degree (Philosophy, Theology, and Psychology) from Rockbridge Seminary.

This engaging one day course has been designed to introduce and enhance students’ skills in coping with the trauma and experiences associated with law enforcement service. It will provide students with techniques for increasing and practicing emotional resilience that will improve officer wellness at home and on the job. By the end of the day’s training, students will be able to identify their levels of resiliency in various aspects of their lives and enhance their skills in coping with stressors commonly experienced in law enforcement careers.
