Police Officers should be certificated Rapid Deployment Instructors and/or responsible for conducting Rapid Deployment training at their departments.

Course Description: This two day, 16-hour Instructor course has been designed to train Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics as instructors to teach Active Threat Rescue Task Force skill sets.  The focus of this program will be to provide the knowledge, specialized tactical skills, and associated materials to develop, implement, and teach Rescue Task Force End User courses to Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics at their respective departments.
         
RESCUE TASK FORCE OPERATIONAL CONCEPT: Police Officers and Firefighter/Paramedics operating together during an Active Threat situation rapidly performing critical lifesaving medical procedures and triage under the force protection of law enforcement.

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Police Officers should be certificated Rapid Deployment Instructors and/or responsible for conducting Rapid Deployment training at their departments. Firefighter/Paramedics should be responsible for conducting training at their departments.

Not Required BUT: IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT POLICE & FIRE TRAINERS FROM THE SAME VILLAGE / TOWN / DISTRICT ATTEND TOGETHER TO MAINTAIN CONTINUITY OF TRAINING, POLICY AND PROCEDURES DURING CRITICAL INCIDENTS.

Police Officers Please Wear/Bring the Following Equipment:
Full Patrol Duty Belt
Patrol Ballistic Vest
Duty pistol
Department Ball Cap – if available
Clear Impact Resistant Safety Glasses
Patrol Rifle - w/Sling, Light & Chamber Blocking Device – if available

This training covers the following mandates:
