This course will primarily focus on the individual officers’ strengths and weaknesses of public speaking to enhance their presentation.  Students will be expected to actively engage through self-evaluation, peer evaluation and instructor feedback.  Students will develop a presentation on the topic of their choice during this class designed specifically for students, parents and/or community groups.

**Participants need to bring a laptop with PowerPoint (or similar program) to class in order to participate**

About MTU 16
The Tri-River Police Training Region also referred to as Mobile Team Unit 16 (MTU16), a member of the Illinois Statewide System for In-Service Training (ASSIST) for continuous in-service training for current law enforcement officers.
